The Sompo Foundation is making fast progress toward its goal to have the organization’s mission, vision, and strategy finalized by the end of the year it can begin making impactful gifts around the world.
To support this process, the Sompo Foundation has retained Emily Bahnsen of Bahnsen Consulting to work closely with the Foundation’s Board of Directors and Leadership Team to guide strategic planning and support the execution of key initiatives.
Emily has extensive experience in corporate philanthropy and development. As a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®), she has dedicated her career to helping nonprofit organizations, private foundations, and corporate foundations create meaningful and sustainable change through charitable giving and community service. She has a strong background in relationship building, fundraising, active engagement in employee volunteerism, and community relations.
We are excited to welcome Emily to the Sompo Foundation which was established to build on Sompo employees’ desire to support social causes and charitable efforts around the world in a more significant, coordinated way. The Sompo Foundation encourages employee volunteerism and local giving efforts through Sompo’s Matching Gifts Programs and other local initiatives.
